When i came to document people from my last beach shots, i found out that Simon Roberts always researched local events and used them as topics. i therefore investigated what was happening in Exmouth over the summer and went to photograph the events.
This included the Red Arrows celebrating August Bank Holiday weekend. There was a fete on the beach as well. I took photos in colour as i did not feel that the previous black and white photos brought out the vibrancy of beach life.
I want these images to be life size, as large as possible, so that the veiwer feels they are part of the image, physically on the beach. with them being life size it will be possible to spot more things happening in the image.
